Happy New Year! I hope that you had a joyous Holiday season and your 2015 is off to a great start!
I’m normally not one for making New Year’s resolutions, but this year feels different to me. In addition to the calendar rolling over to 2015, last week I wrapped up an executive search assignment that had consumed my thoughts and time since August. Now feels like the perfect time to take a step back and look at the bigger picture.
During the second half of 2014, we were 100% focused on execution. We were busier than we had ever been and it felt like there was no time to explore our new ideas. The result was we were able to further solidify already strong relationships with our existing clients, but there was little time devoted to strategy and business development.
Make no mistake; customer satisfaction will always be our #1 priority. I would rather see Recruiting Associates continue to provide excellent service for our existing clients, rather than just “good” service to a larger client base. This year, we are committed to continuing to provide excellent recruiting support while also moving out on some of the ideas we’ve been considering. I believe we have some great ideas that will resonate with our customer base, but I realize they could also flop. We won’t know unless we try. This is the year we try.
Have you made any 2015 New Year’s resolutions for your recruiting career or business? If so, what are they?
